Centaurs are among the most popular mythical creatures nowadays, everyone has heard of them, but not everyone knows about their origins and the myths surrounding these fantastic beings.

Centaurs were a class of hybrid beings from the classical mythology of Greece and Rome. They were sometimes referred to as kentaure or kentauros and were said to have the body and hind parts of a horse but the head and torso of a human.
